ippudu kooda more or less alanti(matchup) step vundi but it depends on your embassy region. In this step, now, they ask you to send the original PIO card only(if it was not a part of original documents submission). In the past, the same step was labeled as Matchup process with a lot of original docs etc..(passport, pio thokka, thotakooraa, gongoora etc) But if the original docs submission step document check list includes original PIO and the applicant included the original PIO accordingly, there is no match up step at all. | ||

Sorry didn’t follow pio to oci conversions so far..my son has a pio..don’t have time or energy to convert to oci. Can I apply visa for him? | ||

sorry nenu update avvaledu,, earlier process around an year ago, matchup appudu originals pampali anta varaku akkarledu.. OCI used to be printed in Delhi, and the local embassy gets it,, appudu match up ki originals pampite, 3-5 days lo anni return vachevi.. #Jai Simha Audio Review | ||

Asal nee poste artham kaale thammi. "If you have reached that state, wait for them to send OCI.. after you send originals, it will take 3-5 business days to get OCI" ikkada nee vuddesam enti? OCI ani two times use chesaav. There is NO Matchup process now. Once Embassy approves the OCI issuance, CKGS requests applicant to send the original PIO card(this is also case by case depending on your region. For ex: SFO you need to send it like this). Once PIO card is reached to CKGS, it would be sent to the embassy again to (in the past its called matchup step) then embassy sends back the new OCI, old PIO, thokka totakooraa etc to CKGS. Then CKGS dispatches your total thotakoora katta. BUT, for my case, I have included the original PIO card in the first time submissions papers(as per their checklist for my region), they have emailed me back that I dont need to include the original PIO card, come and take it. I didnt take it as its again need to be sent to them for the above step. In other words, I may avoid that lag of their message to me to send the original PIO, I am sending it, they are matching it etc ... lets see. BTW, the step "Your Application is �Under Process� at the Consulate" is out of CKGS control, due to the flood of the new filings, it may take a month or two, I guess. | ||
