I concur with this ideology, but I didn't degrade him, he is probably agnostic because he said several times that he doesn't believe in God but a humanist. So the way he differentiates God and Humanism makes one think that he is an iconoclast. On the contrary, the so-called "Jana vignana kendram" people exemplify what I said about hating Indian culture. I don't follow Gogineni (G) or Kathi (K) as much as I care about their targets. I knew nothing about Venuswamy until the viral video came up. This G & K batch is making unnoticeable people famous. These people are just agnostic much worse iconoclastic. When you say, God exists, they'd say no, and it's nonsense. On the other hand, if you don't pray God (for most recent example, the New Year issue), they'd say why not? Negating the popular notions and sentiments is their main agenda. Especially for K, it's true. But this G guy is different. He's right on his targets, as his targets are nasty people who should be weeded out from the society. He is more of agnostic than an iconoclastic. However, just to support his ideology, he cannot blindly belie Indian Culture and intellectuality of Indians. For example, the very Science is nonsense, because, it not as organized as our ancient system of study. I could give a plethora of examples but let me provide a typical and easily understood example of Gregorian Calendar. I remember one of the guys for so-called "jana vignana kendram" argues that Gregorian is scientific whereas our Lunar calendar is not. I can give a detailed scientific explanation of Lunar calendar, but that's not my point here, however, what I'm trying to counter is how on earth the Gregorian Calendar is scientific? Let's ask two questions if it were, why does a scientist name the months the way they are now? For example, when water is H20, I'd expect the religion-or-political-neutral names by taking the worldwide consensus from the scientific community. Secondly, what's the exact scientific reason behind the differences in the number of days each month? The only scientific thing I noticed on this calendar is correcting the leap hours with a leap year. Whereas our ancient system of study is not methodical and scientific that we have a language that agrees with the linguist production rules. I even see some of the Theory of Computer Science textbooks calling the Panini's Grammar of the Sanskrit language as the mother of Computer Science. We have a systemic language and systemic procedures and policies. Best of all, we have undefeatable logic and reasoning techniques using which you can build solid problem-solving paradigms. I fail to understand why people are conviniently ignore the fact that Babu Gogi has already had some amazing achievements. He roasted the Vatican itself on child abuse and was a major part of the movement that exposed Pastors. He had a major role in rehabilitation of Tasleema Nasreen despite getting death threats frm Tellalists. He crusaded against the concept Child Deities and saved a girl chosen by none other than Dalai Lama. We can however chose to have selective blindness and keep mud slinging on him saying that he only targets Hinduism. He is staying in a country where majority are Hindus. Of course he would have to speak out when the majority are being fed plain bullsh!t. He went against 'sentiments' of all religions and didn't bat an eyelid. Babu Gogi might not be an actual scientist. But he is highly educated a nd a very learned man. More importantly....he speaks common sense. Believe that's all should matter. | ||

There are many things get which are beyond science. Tht however doesn't mean we need to be fed superstitions in the name of religion for those which are yet to be proven. It took millennia to determine Earth was a globe. Those who didn't believe that it was flat were roasted. For a long time we believed Sun and Moon were gods.....it's upto us to either consider them as a Star and a satellite or continue to have faith. Issue is when you force things like astrologies commercially and play with ppl's sentiments and mindsets. There is a supreme power who governs us. But the essence of such a power cannot be contained in a religious text which were man made. God himself doesn't try to prove his existence. It is men who have exploited the concept of God to put fear in ppl to control the society. This is where reformers like Gogineni step in to debunk baseless theories which instead of adding little value to society are infact corrupting it. Following religious texts or superstitions can never get u closer to God. Helping a person in need is the greatest Yaaga anyone can do. Manava seva is madhava seva. The very fact that God made a bunch of people instead of a single person means he intended us to help each other build a better world and live peacefully in the world he created. | ||
