Whatttaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa co-incidence.... I am getting my tires changed today... Klupthamga chepta - 1. Costco - If u want top quality go with costco.. they only have 3 brands and all 3 are industry leading best brands... plus costco's best support included... flip side is u r paying more but ur paying for the quality and they dont do wheel alignments so u gotta get it done separately... if u wanna go with costco my suggestion is buy online and get them shipped to the store... the tires in the store may not get the web discount plus not all tires may be available... 2. Tirerack, discounttire etc types - U buy the tires, ship them to the preferred installer (or ur home and carry them to installer)... u pay for tires online and pay the installer directly for the mounting and balancing etc... make sure u talk to the installer about the price (tire rack gives u the ball park on their website but still call them before u place the order).. one installer quoted 35 bucks per tire and one 25 bucks per tire.. plus u have to pay for the wheel alignment ... this is not included in the installation quotes 3. Local chains - go around and get the quotes or call them... they give u a quote per tire including the mounting and balancing... plus u have to pay for the wheel alignment ... this is not included in the per tire quotes Naa personal experience.. dnt cheap out on tires... go with decent brand and avoid bottom shelf, cheap china stuff... Inko gulika - No matter how much u research and try for amazing deals, the max u can save on each tire (same brand different installer) is 15-20 bucks (at least for my size tire 215-60-16).. so dnt waste too much time on research.. Not too bad. But as others pointed out, $15 per tire installation charge plus extra lug nuts(if required)... Anni kalipi, you might be better off going with Costco. Free installation and may be free alignment. | ||
