Biggest threat for 2019 is agrarian distress and farmers being pissed. Modi has to get off his ideological stance of no freebies and relax some things. traders are not buying at fair market prices to stay away from the tax net and that's leaving farmers in a lurch. early signs in saurashtra and soon will be seen big time in maharashtra and madhya pradesh. 2018 budget has to address this - and if done right, will romp home. |
