yesterday evening at about 8pm, every one in the parents class talked to Patel n his son before the class has started... Patel guy seems to have understood that it is not gonna be possible to get trained with this disability n he sat with all the other parents on the bench watching the class... Bottomline - what we see is not real always...there could be something beyond what we see.... day1 ...butt of all the jokes in the class... day2 ...has everyone's respect... y'day evening went to Karate class for my eldest son, he wanted to join...so took him there.. first class - for 90 Mins separate classes for kids, n parents also could join with a different Sensei(teacher) if they want to in an adjacent room... later after being there for the first free class, if they are still interested as per the receptionist, parents also can enroll... I left my son in the training room for kids..I opted out and sat on a bench in the room, where the parents class is going on... I was just curiously watching all the parents who are all taking their first class... Sensei - sinky - fit- 65 years old .... Sensei told to just watch n follow him what ever he is doing n started instructing the class... one little guy - Patel - max 5 foot height - around 50 years... in track pants, almost looking like a stout charlie chaplin...caught the attention of all the parents sitting on the benches... sensei calls for - punching in the air - Patel punches in the air with a loud yelling........yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! loudest in the class....looked like he was enjoying it or probably he thought so... sensei told him - sir, please do not yell...just take it ez n do the same way rest of class is doing... couple of drills later, sensei..asked his co-trainer to be his partner to show some block actions...n asked the class to pair up with their neighbours... patel paired up with a Russian - 6'5 EZ, around 40 & looks very fit... as sensei started showing some blocks in pairs with instructors... patel was not blocking or was not stopping on contact... patel was actually hitting the tall russian...Russian shouted...Sensei...whatz this..??..he's actually hitting me hard yaa.. sensei told patel, to shop immediately on contact...patel involuntarily shook his head in dis-belief... next few more blocks later...sensei called for some drill steps...classssss left!... patel turns right facing russian..seeing this...russian also turned to his right in confusion.... :-) now...all the guys on bench started laughing their hearts out...one girl next to me was blushing and couldn't control her laughter..n went out of the room.... sensei showed left with his left hand, patel shook his head again...god knows what he meant... sensei - class right! patel - turns left...now patel faces a mexican girl...she couldnt stop laughing... sensei calls in patel's son from the other room...n asks if he can understand english...son goes...my dad is deaf....
