Coming back to Donna's book.. I am in confusion that people (on both sides of the aisle here) had a weird notion that a political party's governance is supposed to be a squeaky clean democracy. It could be, but it's like a club, and historically, clubs don't elect to leadership members who joined a fortnight ago. Also Clubs align on agenda which in the case is democratic platform. They reward long-time dedicated operators who get muddy and mucky. I'm not saying that's good. But none of these "revelations about Hillary Clinton" have ever surprised me. I have always wished, and I still wish, that Bernie would freaking stay in the party and help reform and transform it.
