dont rub your opinions n interests on your kids...
All you have 2 do is just provide support n facilitate what they wanna become...
My eldest kid doesn't have any clarity on what he wanna become...
i gave him time to tell me when he decides which is good for him...
sometimes he wanna save planet earth from pollution, sometimes he wanna become fireman, sometimes he wanna become Lawyer to upkeep justice...
his interests varies...n his ideas r still not tangible yet...
let them form their ideas n let them grow on those ideas n let them figure out which is good for them...
whatever he chooses, i will give him full freedom to do whatever he wants to do...
personally, i dont want him 2 choose stereotype professions like engineer, doctor...etc...have enough of them already in the family...
I will be glad...if he chooses anything with a passion...

Make sure that you have all these files (CCDB_TESTS.zipx,CCDB_TESTS.zx01 etc) in one folder

coaching / tuition is a big scam in this country
May be, 1:1 on a particular subject may help,
but not these vignaan and central tutorial koti type coaching centers helps

But, there are research colleges like Johns Hopkins, St. Jude's etc. where it is grueling hard work, but of course in the end it will be rewarding though. |

Probably. But, she doesn't want to go to big schools as she wants to have a relaxed medical college experience rather than dying through the program. Her logic is she already had very tough college years (she went to Georgetown and with a Bio-Chem major, which is supposed to be one of the hardest undergrad programs) and she was involved in several extra curricular activities. So overall it was a very very busy 4 years for her.
She doesn't want to continue on similar path for 4 more years. Any top medical colleges, the competitiveness is brutal and one has to be very very hard working. So, we will see how it goes. |
