Am seeing so many comments about how WITCHES have screwed up the system :-) Is there any website where we can get details of the number of applications by each company for the different categories (EB1, EB2,and also visas like L1, H1 etc)? I saw some site a few weeks back which showed Microsoft having the highest number of GC applications. Closely followed by Google and Facebook. Among the Indian IT Outsourcing companies only CTS was in the top 10. Another factor is the reduced number of L1A-Blankets in the past 6 months from India. Most applicants from the Outsourcing companies in India for L1-A Blanket are being asked to apply for L1A Individual. So is the concern genuine? | ||

H1B was supposed to be for US lo talent ledu, we need someone from outside the country. WITCH model is total replacement of client employees and get it done at a lower rate from India. USCIS is also providing updated guidance that is both more consistent with the agencyâs current priorities and also advances policies that protect the interests of U.S. workers." Trackitt lo awesome post by someone on the mess created by WITCHs: In short, these 5 companies eat up 30% (approx) of the H1b quota every year from past 10 years or so and it is not a secret that instead of hiring locally with same talent or even more those companies tend to move to cheaper labor imported from India. It would be a waste of my as well as your's time to discuss those things again. How many companies are there around the globe doing business with US which needs H1B workers legitimately? More than 2k, 5k....??? (I am assuming minimal) Out of that number ONLY 5 taking up 30% H1B quota is just bombastic. A lot of my talented friends have returned back to India after their masters/PhDs from school everyone (including me) dream to just attend. Credit goes to your witchs, not only they gamed the system but their malpractices left us in this mess. I am not trying to blame anyone here, of course they gamed the system with twisting the option available but when someone comes with an argument to portray these companies as if they are some sort of big deal is beyond my imagination. It's not too long even the EB1C will be under radar and legitimate people will suffer because of those companies. So please stop with such non sensical arguments. In the end we are in a big mess but at least now this will clean up a lot of non-deserving candidates. | ||
