Don't trivialize the issue to toilets and urinals. If in toilet no one would even think of standing up to anthem. That is the basic human sensibility. No one need to teach us that. And I also mentioned that clearly that it's a matter of by not standing up doesnt make anyone of us any less patriotic. The discussion is more about parties who are opposing the issue staunchly. The core point of political parties opposing is pure agenda based against hindusim not just us here where think rationally and happily do it when we want and dont when we dont want to stand up or salute. These people if asking next not to sing or teach anthem in school how many would agree. Because that might be the next demand. And it could be argued that it's a choice of patents to teach or not to about national anthem. What could anyone do if the issue goes in this path? | ||

For all commenting on anthem and hindusim , please note it's the same. It's not telling I am taking about. In clauses all Indians or in other words Hindustanis. Hinduism is a way of live exclusive to this country and other surrounding places included in original India historically. Supreme court defines this but it's not sinking in our minds for some reason. It's like people still accusing Modi of moral counts etc etc on Gujarat roits even after highest legal authority of country declaring him free. | ||

Few points I thought I would like to share Should all must stand up when national anthem played? Why Not would a simple stright forward answer (barring unhealthy unaware kind of people) After all it's a matter of happiness and pride to salute to and respect to a flag and anthem. But should it be by force is the more appropriate question then. This is where the difficulty arises. If forced it looks like the people who don't want to stand up on certain occassions when the anthem is played can be branded as non-patriots. I personally had occassionas when I felt very patriotic but did not want to move at all when anthem was played when I was young. I did not feel less patriotic than any others till now. Does it need to be played in places like movie theatres? Why not? But it should be purely the theatres owner's choice to play or not. It should not be implemented as a rule. There should be a national wide policy of where and when to play compulsion and where to play as choice. It need lot of work up. But the big difference is the current left and liberals who are opposing the standing up for anthem are not just people like you and me who can occasionally get tired or bored to stand up bit still are patriots. These people are to be seen and their intentions must be measured in the context of what's going on in the country than some isolated incidents. Breaking BJP can restore the age old political system and legacy which did very little for the betterment of india in a larger picture. It will not let us be pride of what we are and what our real identity is as Hindus of 5000+ years of civilisation. It will just give some temporary short term gains to people like some beneficiary schemes than a longerterm policies. It will appease and do minority policies than comprehensive development of people. It will like people to poorer and ignorant for vote bank politics instead of development. It would like to encourage pseudodemocracy which is almost equivalent to dynasties of BritishRaj So if you see these developments in the above context it be clearer to our minds what is happening with patriotism. Tagetting hindusim and making us feel low by constantly questioning the daily and festival practices of our culture is not some isolated event. It's happening in larger scale with a bigger target towards hindusim. Patriotism is something that need to be taught from childhood. It includes teaching the hindusim and our cultural greatness. It's now not standing up on anthem. Then next step could be even bashing it and still be patriotic. Such a shame. Let me know your thoughts. |
