There are sympathizers in TG,but naxaks are not very much active in TG.But more active in Chattisgarh,AOB,Nallamala range The ecnomic condition in TG has much improved in last decade .Even though the agriculture position is same,but many of the new generation /youth got educated and moved to cities and other countries for emplyment and are supporting families.The money sent are helping them and local economy.The land prices have increased tremendously too.The poice now has better and efficient intellgeince agthering network(informers) due to penetration of cellphone and are able to track every movement of naxals | ||

I don't think os..Naxals movement was between 1980s to till eary 2000s (don't foegt that Madava reddy ,Indira reddy, alipiri attack is very much during TDP rule and Seapker Sripada Rao was killed in 1999 ,very much after TDP rule) It declined during YSR's first term.He called them for crease-fire /talks and backstabbed them when one by one came out from underground/hideouts YSR promised that there will be no encounters and everyone will be let free.Taking this oppurtunity teh naxalites were freely doing thier activities and communicated with each other.The police were intecepting them and tracking thier movement.Eventually (as per govt plan) talk failed and police with the intelligence and info gathered were able to cripple Naxalites,BIG TIME. | ||

The socio economic condition of TG are different from AP.AP has vast of land which is ferticle and irrigated round the year.The education and awareness level is way better (as in was under British rule).It is opposite in TG as it was rules by Nizam and fuedal lords who suppressed people Naxalism is against rich and pro poor.They belive in distributing/taking way wealth from rich and distributing to poor. In rural TG,there used be imbalance of wealth in the wealth in the society.90% poor and 10% rich and it is easy for the majority of poor (Jobless,pennyless and hungry)to get attracted to Naxalalites ideology (which states to LOOT rich-'FreeMoney').While in AP or other states..the divide between rich and poor is less..cos there is a majority of middle class who don't get swayed away with Naxlite idealogy (as their stomach are full and don;t take any risk) TG was a fuedalistic society (especially North TG,where Naxalism thrived) Coming to castes,these fuedalists are just not restricted to Castes.Even Brahmins,Muslims and BCs were part of this group ! | ||
