Kind of similar thing got averted at Secunderabad station 2 years back Went to Secbad station to catch train to Rajahmundry. Last minute lo edho platform maarchedu. So aa bridge meedha literally struck. atuvelle janaalu, itu velle janaalu. Platform changed but no change in time. Time miss avvudhi anna kangaaru hadavudi. Musallollu, kids. indian metro railway stations run at overcapacity with very basic facilities. there are hardly 2 foot overbridges one at each end of platform,this has to be shared with beggars and vendors adda. just to get shelter from rain they could have jostled each other and paid the price. | ||

i think 50 daaka.. from the description i read...they were taking shelter in the Foot over bridge..and then rushed towards the train..when it came..ee lopala ekkado short circuit ayyi edo pelindi..so they panicked and stampede happened.. railway station lo FOB meeda shelter enduku anedi naak bhi samajh kaaledu..or may be station was already crowded.. ee Mumbai nagaramu plus daani Railway system lo travel chesthe gaani aa kashtalu ardham kaavu emo manaki I have never been there..and never want to go there in my life | ||
