I was on Fi network which was essentially the same as this merger. Network was iffy in places. Home to work darilo 4 places lo definite dropped calls undevi. Wonder if that changes at all with how well phones switch bands and towers.

ur phone can support multiple bands. But since ur carrier supports only few bands, its options are limited while connecting to towers. But imagine if ur carrier gives access to all bands supported by all carriers, it will be as good as any best network.. in fact best of all.. now with this merger both customers can access each other carrier bands..not the best but still very good

ow will network improve? Isnt Sprint CDMA and TMobil GSM. I think even LTE bands are different

Read the articles I shared. Sprint has bandwidth 800mhz (lower) 1900(medium) and 2500(higher)
TMobile has 600/700mhz and 1800mhz in medium and 2.2 in higher I think..
Dense areas lo low bandwith is key. It has capability to penetrate walls / buildings with high coverage area but cant give superfast download speeds... for that higher bands are needed

Now imagine 600-800 mhz for 1 company is huge. On higher bandwidth Sprint has very wide spectrum. Combining TMob/S will give acess to huge spectrum...for 5G speeds, higher bandwidth is crucial.

CDMA will be outdated in next 2-3 years. Everything will be on VOLTE. So having good LTE network will be sufficient.

Maintenance, software, NW planning, RF engineers, stores, others lo easy ga 30-40% redundancy!
Compete avvalsindi 2 key members tho kabatti better pricing and less marketing

Lot of money save avuddi for same no of customers...

In 2-3 years cdma will be outdated for mobile networks. VOice over LTE will be the new norm.

If any comp still supports 2g/3g they will have to use cdma...

With merger they get better Bandwidth , more towers, cut down stores, less work force and more customers. Efficiency will increase multifold. FCC will approve this time I think

I think previously in 2011 or some time AT&T tried to merge/Take over T-Mob,but Department of Justice has not approved it stating that the merger would cause higher prices, fewer choices and less competition (monopoly)

But Verizon and Sprint's networks use CDMA technology, while AT&T and T-Mobile are built on GSM. Don't how Sprint will get befitted with the merger

Sesani:

T-Mobile is doing good Mesharu... It's not a jogi...

Network coverage or customer satisfaction top notch..

Tmobile network coverage equally bad. ATT/Verizon has solid network.

http://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/2017-how-much-low-mid -and-high-band-spectrum-do-verizon-at-t-t-mobile-sprint-and- dish-own

With merger, it will improve network for both and can compete with top 1&2.

Surveys/Nelson benchmarking lo Sprint tops in LTE and LTEPlus...on par with Verizon...Tmobile is last...
