Actual gaa won't respond.. but these are blanket statements.. how you live in bayarea anedhi?? I think most indian IT coolie population is in bayarea and ppl still question bayarea.. Once they adopted to bayarea work culture it is pretty hard to adjust outside of this. Money, salary ivanni how you market yourself ane dhaani meedha depending.. ade kada...i worked in nc,tx, nj, wa..and last 4 yrs ca...the coolest/very good work culture is in bay area with less time to spend in office with 3x salary....may be ppl who work on witch compnies or they never worked in bay talk like that........i have tons of frnds here all are mostly wfh 2 day a week...rest of the week kuda no over time..... | ||

Job satisifaction, Job availability, technology advancements anni eeda ninche start.. start-ups ki swarga dhaamam.. Yes traffic is heavy but all biggies provide shuttle coach from all corners. Netflix aithe we can expense Uber and Lyft on top of this shuttle. WFH lu allow chesttaru, Timings pattinchukoru.. what else you need? Its done in Bay area. Its not affordable to single pay check folks. Either both in the family has to work or you have to be lucky to have landed in good company whose stock has improved. Otherwise, its a depressing place. When I moved in 2011, sunnyvale was least preferred for the lack of good schools. Houses used to sell for 500k-600k at the tops. Even when housing market picked up, sunnyvale was always the weakest link and no one bothered but it all changed once big companies started to start their operations in sunnyvale (as it is right at the center of the bay), prices have sky rocketed. | ||
