Other than the first one or two generations, Apple was a follower. It took more than 4 years to adapt to wireless charging. fingerprint reader was first implemented by Motorola, Apple has excelled it. They don't try to do everything, what they do becomes standard. I am happy that Apple has "finally" adapted wireless charging. Now even if we forget the charger at home, we can hopefully charge at airports(?), food chains.
