Official policy in Hyderabad: Dear Parents, We have received information from the Department of Education requiring us to mandatorily submit, by 15 September 2017, personal details of all students admitted in the school. One of the details required therein is the caste, if any, to which the child belongs. We request all parents to let us know immediately, by return email, what you would like us to enter against your child's name. The following four are the only options allowed: OC- Other castes SC- Scheduled castes BC- Backward castes ST- Scheduled tribes. One of the above must be entered for the details to be accepted by the system. |
