Raman uncle, kids who prepare for these medical exams - Vaalla frustration, anxiety different from others like IIT enrance, accounting etc., India does not have enough medical colleges/seats. See their frustration. If you make one exam mandatory for everyone and if you cannot make it, what is the way out?

If a guy who fails IIT entrance, he can go to BITS or some other engg college.

Enigmatic, even if entire India has same syllabus, it does not make sense to make one central exam mandatory for ALL private colleges. Private colleges should be able to choose their own criteria to select students(Vellore CMC is right in challenging NEET.)

The way it NEET is sold by activists is it would reduce corruption in admissions etc., It will NOT change any of this.

neet does not make sense until the whole country has same syllabus at the board level. other wise coaching center ki velle vallaki favor gaa vuntadi as people who can afford it can prepare for it. poor people who cannot afford coaching classes like this girl will suffer.

NEET judgement is another example to show how fcked up Indian judiciary is.

In 2013, a 3-judge bench took up the case of NEET(petitioner is vellore CMC). It was a 2-1 judgement declaring NEET is unconstitutional(i. e, the state cannot force private medical colleges to accept NEET as the base test.) The dissenting judge is Justice Dave.

By 2016, the two majority judges in the above the three judge bench retired. The dissenting judge Dave recalled the judgement and they took up the case on their own again and this time declared NEET constitutional. Yes, our great judge recalled without any hearing. Just like feudal lords.

Then they passed various orders to enforce it immediately without much thought(How do you normalize various boards. Example: Kids from AP state syllabus will kick the shiit out of kids from TN state syllabus.) They gave the order and asked the govt to conduct it in 3 days notice.
