Unless safe havens in Pak are eliminated, there is no military solution. What tools does US have to force a change in Pak military? I see nothing. Only option is to give free hand to India & Afg to destabilize Pak through TTP. | ||

There is very little he could do different with Afghanistan. So I am not going to be much critical here. If you pay attention , he demanded help from India which seemed weird . Diplomacy needs to be done behind the doors..may be he is trying to look strong He broke his election promise( and I am glad for it). Pulling out troops will completely destabilize that area. He did not talk about troop levels but the answer is right there in what he did not say. They are going to increase the troops ..this is not bannon' s view. Though he said killing terrorists not building nations, it was just a jargon. No clarity there..ofcourse , it will be fun to pull back his tweets from past regarding Afghanistan , I will pass!!
