Doosukeltha -- If you are looking for a job..career wise ..Engineering etc best..so you can get a quick job and settle (Typical Indian middle class mentality) But, if you are interested in Science and has a genuine passion for it, then there is nothing in the world like Pure Math "If god exists, his language is mathematics".you can take the word 'God' out and put 'nature' . Mathematics is the most beautiful and fundamental of all sciences. Only people who are passionate can pursue it..it is not for faint hearted OR for people who want to earn quick bucks. Otherwise, Andrew wiles would not have locked himself for 7 years to solve his child hood passion Fermats last theorem.OR, Ramanujan would not have toiled his whole life for that ultimate reality of Infinity... Yaa..finally coming to the money ..the biggest Hedge fund Renaissance is run by a group of mathematicians...they have earned 80 billion so far..LOL Please do not denigrate Mathematics by posting such crap as teaching ki tappa enduku panikaradu etc.. | ||

any engineering is application of Sciene. and math is the language to read science. so obviously pure math /Science is alwayss tougher and way better. We have a math PhD in our company who writes codes/models algorithms for very complex chemical reactions. he learnt complex chem. process despite having no background and codes without a CS degree. It is possible because of his strong understanding of fundamentals through math. | ||
