Chanakya. Smriti ni enduku theesesaaro nenu nenu chepthaanu kadaa.... it is the most important ministry......Most education laws/regulations don't apply to schools/colleges run by minorities(even if they receive govt aid)......after making sure constituional amendments to make sure the edu laws apply only to schools run by Hindus, UPA Govt brought the Right To Education(RTE) law....it applies to only schools run by Hindus........After Smriti becoming HRD minister, she constituted a committee to formulate New Education Policy(NEP). One of the recommendations in NEP is to make changes so that the central edu law RTE applies to schools run by minorities also. This is the main contention. She interacted with people on social media and heard about these anamolies in education laws. That is why there was a hit job every day on her. Note how the hit jobs stopped immediately after she has been moved out of HRD. Now Modi brought a dumb fellow from RSS and made him HRD. Now this guy(Javdekar) scrapped the NEP formulated by Smriti - without giving any reason. When you junk a report, you have to give reasons why you are junking it. He did not. Now notice how the Cong-friendly media praises Javdekar routinely and does puff pieces because Javdekar guaranteeed status quo. They want status quo. Read the below puff piece.
