to my knowledge 1. on some products fully manufactured , GST will be on wither raw material on end product 2. on some things like hotels, services GST will be on the end price. people are saying you will see GST rates printed on some type of products like MRP, not sure | ||

cooking books is not option, if they are not competitive they will go out of market and people loose their jobs that is not excuse for not implementing GST. I am talking about many baddi kottu guys, electronic shops etc, roadside hotels anyhow we need to wait and watch for atleast an year | ||

5 lakhs or as less as 1 lakh also as investment creates 1 job in small & medium industries as compared to 1 crore for 1 job in big industries... do u know how many people are employed in small n medium scale industries...directly or indirectly...more than 70% of our employees are in these 2 sectors....most of them might loose jobs because of this effed up gst.... n who said...they dont pay taxes...they pay taxes but they all cook books to survive in local competition n in between big corporates small n medium r our own guys... big n mnc's r mostly not us... u decide now... They ate paying zero taxes on what they sell. so it is indorect wasy to make them taxable. we need to wait and watch on how prices increase on decrease on various items I have no sympathy on medium and small traders who are earning a lot without paying taxes Now on many of the hotel food 18% GST which is slightly more than previous VAT and other But if states start putting additional taxes like SB tax kind, then it will problem we need to wait and watch | ||

tambi..benefits chaala takkuva when compared to the negatives of gst from a small - medium business owners... more overheads... more rawmaterial costs... more equipment like computers, printers, book keepers needed...to maintain & file taxes... input credits r less for raw material purchases slab structure in gst is a curse... inka chaala unnaayi... ask any small/medium scale business owner...they will tell u...most of them don't know yet...because it is very early... but gst impact is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge & in a negative way...
