I think if you are going out, they have to check your baggage out. However You can store luggage for a fee. Taxis are very low charge. Take taxi, go to burj khalif roam around and come back. It will be hectic for a 7 hour gap. your luggage will be checked , keep you carry on less, you can get a cab out side the airport , they are all Air conditioned, less expensive, go to dubai mall , and during the drive you can watch the city , and spend the rest of time in mall and catch a cab back and go back to airport , very easy .. - | ||

Bedars and Sisters We are flying EMIRATES on 7th to INDIA and just noticed our Itenary and the connecting flight from DUBAI to HYD is 7 hours after we land in DUBAI! Quick question - Can we go out for say some 4 hours into the city sightseeing and come back in time for our flight? We land in DUBAI at 8 AM (Terminal 3) and our HYD flight is at 3 PM (Terminal 3)! Say after we get down by the time we come into the terminal it is 30 minutes and than we refresh for about an hour...1 hour 30 minutes gone and 5 hour 30 min remaining! And if we go out and 100% want to be in Airport at least an hour and 30 min before flight departure we have approximately 4 hours to do whatever we want to! Now Is it feasible thing to do i.e. assuming we can roam in city for 3 hour 30 min can we risk to go out? Did anyone do this? Also, for American Citizens is it Visa on arrival? Or NO visa required? And we have to take into account even this time if we need to take Visa! And last if we can go out and it is feasible does anyone have any sightseeing company contact whom I can E Mail and schedule a TAXI? Plz throw some light!
