This is much better and safe. Oldway of taking aadhar card copy and giving sim card is much dangerous. Some local phone agents make multiple copies and get multiple numbers and sell numbers in bilack markeet. very dangerous, especially if they know that we are NRIs, they make many numbers. | ||

I had Google Fi (Same concept as TMobile data) when last time I was in India. Totally useless at Hyd airport. Delhi airport lo it was really good. Hyd lo it was on and off. I ended up using local sim. Parents oka sim teesi pettaru. Airtel. It was good. | ||

You need dual sim phone so that you can use one sim for india local and TMO sim for continuing USA number + data. But, it is always better to get local data, these data is very affordable. few thousand rupees, you will get 4g speed. My advice is use the TMO until you reach india (for texting + data). Once you reach india buy a sim (hybrid) and use it with google voice (with auto forwarding), TMO is just a backup as the data speed is 2g/3g only. | ||

Is tmobile data/text works in india? Vaademo adi free antaadu. Is it really true,leka as usual hidden charges like international roaming untada. Otherwise better go for local sim. Next month going India on Summer vacation. |
