Kumble was a true soldier while playing. He may be firm but he wont be authoritarian and dominating. Even as 1 year as captain, he was A very balanced person. Kuldeep Yadav matter lo Kohli wrong. Kumble is an idiot with lot of know all attitude and laziness. Played for India more than a decade never improved on fielding and always had to hide him in the field. Dives after the ball passes him and can't chase a Balkans used to be a bigger Jaga hole in the field. This fellow used to curse others even if one run is leaked due to aggressive attacking fielding. Worst attitude kumble want everyone in the team to work for him but not the other way round TDP for life. The main problem with Kumble is Grinding the players to the extent where they were injured. This approach would have worked for team in 2000's because not everyone was FIT except for the likes of Kumble and few others. The current indian team is the fittest with an exception of Ashwin. Deeni meedha main godava . Kohli or Dhoni themselves did not have a problem with Kumble but it's other players -- sorry to differ......as retired players usually get respect from us....and Kumble and dravid a bit more.... appatlo vallu fit anedhi boothu......for decades we have to depend on scoring boundaries with skill than to run the ones and twos.....this has been a great change in the last decade. fielding was below par when kumble played.....except for an occassional robin singh...... bowlers had a role to bowl only.....now a days they are allrounders.... not all that has passed was good.... and the amount of physical fitness these young guys put in these days especially their captain is enormous..... even if you play for your country and play as a team.....there is difference between players main ones...stars etc etc....idhi fact......we developed it with bidding in IPL......coach antey NCC coach kaadhu....he got to have all round abilities......
