Just saw the article. It's not as if KXIP had a poor season. They were in contention for playoffs till the very last match despite having a relatively weaker team. Sehwag's comments were very harsh and hypocritical. Ishanth played 6 matches, bowled 20 overs and hasn't taken even ONE wicket. There is a reason why he wasn't bought in the auction by any franchises. But Sehwag called him in for the replacement of injured Vijay, which was ridiculous and the way he treated Natarajan, who was bought for a mammoth, needs aa deep retrospection. Natarajan got very few chances and even in matches he played, was neverlet to bowl his full quota. And then, out of nowhere, Ishanth would replace him in the next match. Sehwag should be fired the sole reason of buying Ishanth in the first place and more so with the treatment of Natarajan. | ||
