dont know about sciences..but yes it makes a lot of difference in semi conductors and electronics industry. My adviser is quiet famous guy. he has students in pretty much all large companies, many in top management. concepts pakkana pedithe famous faculty ayithe job market lo kuda big advantage | ||

5/6 years easy ga padthundi 3 factors to consider here: PhD program/topic, adviser and school rankings Advisor reputation and his/her connections will make a big difference andi. PhD is a big commitment..supervisor tho good working relation lekapothe hell I started my Phd with the hope that I will finish it in 3-4 years. if she wants to go into academia/research institute then PhD cheyyochu... you need to think whether that phd degree will give you any advantage in your current field....phd ante rresearch or teaching edo oka goal undali.... Central govt lo udyogam vadilesi phd cheyyali ante u need to luv science a lot...antha preminche type ayithe u never think about the FCI job...giving up 5-6 yrs of ur life is not an easy thing for somebody who is planning to work start family etc etc... my 2 cents | ||

need advise/vopinion My niece is working in FCI based on her Bachelor's degree recently finished M-Tech from Osmania.. ippudu Ph.D admission ki call letter vachindi from IIT Chennai dilemma for her is, to take up Ph.D (which means giving up current jaab) or let it go.. Ph.D Chennai ante..5/6 years paduthundi ani septhunnar anta..janalu..that too in pure sciences kim karthavyam.. |
