Not sure whether I shared this story.. Once a yogi writes a book about Adwaita philosophy and he gets great fame and name. He participates in numerous debates and wins all of them. However once he goes to Kasi, and on the river banks one old man asks him 1. Do you feel happy when you defeat others. 2. Do you feel proud of your knowledge When the Yogi answers "Yes" to them, then Old man laughs at him and says, I know how much Adwaita you know. Realizing his mistake the yogi falls at the old mans feet and gets Krishna Mantra and renunciates everything and spend rest of life meditating.. Most of the modern age gurus are like the yogi above.. You cannot force others to believe him and stop them to criticize him.. Your belief is yours and others non-belief is theirs. Millions following him or getting awards is no big deal in spiritual path. Modern age gurus might get some experiences or they know something more than others but still they are learners. Atleast Jaggi vasudev is too,, Basically, calling himself Sadhguru proves he is still a learner.. Many gurus have proven he has limited knowledge in many deep areas..
