Unfortunately a result in form of a victory heavily overshadows the negative impact of demonitization. Nothing can be more idiotic than this, this government's economic performance has been worse than UPA2 also, leave aside UPA 1 at almost every level. Now to say that the election victory justifies demonetisation and other economic ills means that because the Congress ruled for 60 years, their country's economic and social progress was mindblowing....if you try to justify the former, the latter can also be justified. Modi has a mandate to decide whether to be a Lee Kuan Yew or an Indira Gandhi...for the last 3 years, he is veering to the latter. It is time he pulled up his socks (or tightened his langot) and got down to business. |
