unless they have something like Lipitor, nothing can save them .. They bought all these companies by over paying them. Then they cut the costs, raised the prices and justified acquisition. This cycle went on for about 5 years. I will give BL example. BL was bought by Warburg pincus around $65 per share( about 4billion and some pending law suits) after disastrous tumble due to bacteria outbreak in their renu moisture loc contact lens cleaner . They managed the company very efficiently , brought in Fred Hassan's protege Brent Saunders . Fantastic turnaround story. He increased pharma portfolio from 5% to around 30% making the company extremely profitable .. enter valeant .. they paid about 10billion and the regular drill cut the costs and jack up prices .. Bausch has tremendous brand value which is making valeant rethink their strategy but it may be too late.. Bausch is their biggest acquisition .. they got a bit greedy and went after Allegran.. | ||

not worth it. Ee company model ye oka lanti Ponzi scheme. The only asset of value they have is BL. Too many debts.. It is almost a sinking ship. Very hard to revive these kind of companies | ||
