they may ask I94 because that tells them that you are in status. remember many people gets i797-B copy without i94 sometimes. That's why they made rule for carrying i94. this is the logic i can think of. but i'm not sure as i forgot which lawyer told me this. Also Driver License is not a valid ID document from 2018.(federal govt. introduced Gold Star but some states did not implemented it properly). So make habbit of carrying passport. | ||
