Naa kid 2 yrs 2 months.. she counts from 1 to 20, oka 20ish rhymes in 3 languages, almost all colors cheptadi, a to z, all fruits, veggies, animals, vehicles cheptadi looking at pictures. 20+ animal jigsaw puzzles finished..chaala Vegetable jigsaw puzzle finished.. finding Nemo, Madagascar, kungfu Panda, Lion King characters, jungle book etc. anni characters kanthastam.. she knows every popular character from these movies, Kiara and Panda are favorites.. beleive me. idi athi ekkada mastaru..daily 15 mins and saturday 1 hour class. It gives a direction to them actual ga. vallani enjoy cheyyanivvakunda ekkada untam cheppu. roju school nunchi 3 ki vachi night 8 ki padukone varaku chosedi ipad, or some other games outside if weather permits. madhyalo oka 15 mins home work ki emi athi. meeku pillalu vachaka same ante vappukunta | ||

Also I am spending some time with her while she is working on them. Guys, What worked for us is that my kids should not do anything after they come back from school, until their homework is done. My wife started this discipline since they were in 1st grade, so it became routine for my kids. Only when they came to highschool Junior year, for SAT's we put them in a SAT prep coaching center. My older kid got 2310 in SAT with 80 hours of SAT coaching classes in Jr. year. | ||

not much teaching will be in KUMON, only reason we do is to give the kids some routine, it is more like a intensive coaching , which works for my kids If the kids are self motivated , you don't need it , mine are not - | ||

Kids meeda depend autadi kada. As someone said, intlo nerchukokapote, tuition ki pampiste konchem help autundi ani aasa. Ma kids iddaru, maatalu cheppi explain cheste vintaru. But pen book meeda pettalante matram chukkalu choopistaru. At tuition,one or two hours a week. Maku 300 bokka per month. But aa ganta tuition helps them keep up with the school. | ||
