Even if you have OCI or not you will be asked your travel history,your country of birth ,old passport number and other passports info your hold (dual citizens) http://www.opm.gov/Forms/pdf_fill/SF86.pdf check section 9 and 10 in this form | ||

OCI is like almost dual passport without Voting rights and can not buy agricultural properties On OCI you are almost like a Indian Citizen,you can live in India indefinitely with out bothering extension of visa/stay or reporting to local police. You can study ,do business or even work On a Indian Visa you are just like any foreigner on a Indian visa You will get a limited time to stay..can not work (need work permit) | ||

I am also debating the same. We need to renounce Indian citizenship. May be OCI needs more paper work and costs more but one time deal laga undhi. Its costing almost $500. | ||

oci tesukunnava visa tisukunnava anedhi immaterial bedar...you have to renounce Indian citizenship immediately. It is illegal to not do so.....timeline gurthu ledhu but konni days/ months taruvatha fine kuda vestharanukunta. | ||

Guys About to send Renounciation of Indian Passport and apply for Indian entry (OCI or Visa)! Now the question is OCI teesukovatam better aa VISA teesukovatam better aa?
