In GS, his record against single-hand backhand players (86%) is not a lot worse than against 2hand backhand players (89%) The night conditions help the more defensive player - that is the real trump card here. Infact, if both the semifinal and final are played during day time, there is more than 80 percent chance Nadal would not win the trophy, even on this slower hardcourt. That has been one of the big reasons that Djokovic and Nadal have had a leash on Federer at AO, IW or Miami - because it is as good as playing on clay, when you play on these courts, at night. Dimitrov's trump card is that the pressure is all on Nadal - he has atleast a 30 percent shot (according to bookies - who are generally a good indication because they put money on it). Have to give credit to Courier here. The Channel 7 interviews, over the ages, are a notch above the US Open ones. Wimbledon, as expected, is meh... FO, atleast in the US, there are no courtside interviews like the other 3 slams As for the match, was feeling very good about BEL18VE till the middle of third set and now it is all up in the air. He needed to be physically in impeccable shape to have a chance against Nadal. Now, we will need Baby Fed to take out Nadal. Or maybe having the injury will make him let it all go like Stan did in the last 3 sets.
