Ippudu sammagaa vundhaa picchanako Tamil Jallikattu supporters: CHENNAI: Two persons were killed and 28 suffered minor injuries during jallikattu in Pudukottai district on Sunday. The people injured during the incident in Pudukottai district, where scores of people and several bulls took part, were discharged after providing first-aid, they said. With an ordinance being promulgated for holding jallikattu, the sport was organised in several parts of the state, including Rapoosal in Pudukottai district. Police said two persons were killed when they were gored by a bull during jallikattu at Rapoosal in which several bulls were used and many sportsmen took part. | ||

Jagan fought hard and did fast to death - and CBN said do this in Delhi, not here Did someone tell Jallikattu guys also to go to Delhi - because Center/Supreme court is involved ? CBN himself watered it down saying we don't get much with SS - multiple times (although he talked BS during elections) ... and so Center would have thought ... take it easy. Pawan also did his part in the meetings, although it looked disconnected. What did CBN do ... nothing but compromise. SS was promised in the Parliament, and supported fully by Congress and BJP ...
