Maa neighbor into recruiting middle management lo unnadu HCL ki and aayana last week cheppindi...if TRUMP Govt go head with this Minimum wage to be 100K for any H1B filing or Amend...it will be NIGHT MARE for all the companies and will prompt companies to HIRE GC or Citizens instead of H1Bs. Reason he says is NO WAY can companies pay ALL H1s 100K...if 100K need to be the salary the expense comes to about 122K and NO WAY that kind of billing exists in the market for Junior and Middle level positions is his take! Thus, if such a rule is implemented that rather than H1B they want to hire more and more GC/Citizens id the take! So, bottomline is CONSULTING business will have though times if this rule implemented as they cannot do any H1s and make money in body shopping! | ||

Like as i said he is a pretty normal joe...though his co was started 12 years back...his employers were just below fove until a couple of years back ...when he recieved 2 much of flak from friends...then he started hiring h1b's 3-4 years ago only... Ninna maa friend gaadu ph chesaadu, he works full time as an employee N also has a small software consulting firm which has about 30 employees on h1/gc/citizenship He is all in one, does everything on his own, being doing it for the last 12 years or more, said really tired of doing all this... Maa void paina unde layer(main vendor) gaadu IP petti denks anta, 6 of his people work through them n he has to pay the employees out of his pocket for the last 6 paychecks(fortnightly) Also, for h1b's more paper work, more headaches every day..new h1b guys pressurizing him for more salary & also lightly threatening him that they will complain to hxmeland... end of the day, aadu cheppedi...e na bochu peekindi ledu first ninchi kooda...this model is no more good...n probably will shut the doors very soon after paying for all the bad debts, n after they can go to someone else... looks like...it's end of the road for small desi consulting firms...
