Do your kids go to public schools? Mine have always been in public except for a couple years in charter - we hated charter - no teacher retention, all extracurriculars on a payment basis ... And school choice - really ? What happens when everyone in a bad school wants to go to the best school - how are they going to decide who gets choice and who does not ? What about transportation?

charter school promotion is to avoid spending money on teachers ( no bonus, no requirement benefits and nothing to worry ) , not to worry about the quality of cafeteria and most importantly no school buses.
