One big problem is CLASS RANK is very important and I know kids who were TOP 10 ranks in MIDDLE SCHOOL and after getting into TJ they were not in top and missed out good colleges...so it is a good high school if the kid can maintain top ranks otherwise regular school is better! | ||

Sister- unless your kids are highly intelligent, don't prefer TJ. Even if you get admission, there will be lot of stress. On top if your kids not able to get good gpa, you will not get admission in good colleges and no college give preference that you came from TJ. Also in TJ, your kids need to do lot of research for classes. Teachers teach only 10/15% and rest your kids needs to do lot of research for studies | ||
