I still feel it's a brave decision by Modi and an attempt to move forward in the aim towards nullifying black money sector. Many are suffering but ultimately it will show its fruits. No one is saint in politics but the intentions of demonetisation probably is not questionable. I too got very very angry and upset like millons of people because of the suffering on money unavailability, but that kind of reaction is instantaneous and expected. Deaths are not good for whatever reason. Long wait in queues are not happy things. But in a larger good sometimes we have to yield a bit. Websites like Mashable and other western news agencies will have their own agendas in this failure. | ||

what i noticed is even in our food court at work....initially many were only accepting cash....in 2 days every one starting going to joints accepting paytm or card.....these cash only counters lost business ....now most of them accepting card despite it slows down payment process at peak lunch hours.... | ||

Prasads Hyderabad lo fun zone lo PayTM is not accepted. Card readers did not work. ATMs were out of money. This was last Saturday. We had to part with the invaluable 100 rupee notes so that our kids could enjoy those pathetic games they offered. They don't accept PayTM/Cards for parking in Prasads. I tried paying with PayTM at a tea stall in Hitech City. He flatly refused. (The amount was not insignificant. 150 rupees - for a couple of teas and a cigarette packet) PayTM's outage - not the first yesterday. Last weekend also it didn't work for hours. This is the cashless situation in Hyderabad for an up-market slightly first world situation. | ||

Ninna Pune airport bayita restaurant vaadu no cards antadu, no paytm antadu and this is one of the premier cities in India with a strong tech penetration. If the airport can't force people who are running airport concessions to take cards, inka cashless enti deenemma. Of all the priorities we have in the country right now, is being a salesman for Paytm the most important one. I refuse to do transactions through paytm unless mandatory. All the apps are screwed up in their terms and conditions, all of them want access to my location, my contacts, photos, messages etc etc. wtf, why should i disclose all this crap to a waller provider | ||
