Thanks. As mentioned, CCDB doesn't work sometimes, I think I found couple of ways to make it work next time when it happens.

Gsn1:

nslookup chalanachitram.com output:
-----------------------------------

Server: FIOS_Quantum_Gateway.fios-router.home
Address: 192.168.1.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: chalanachitram.com
Address: 199.59.243.120

This means your DNS settings on the router are working fine. I am assuming that you default DNS settings from ISP and I don't think in your case ISP is the issue

Generally nslookup bypasses /etc/hosts file for name resolution. Sometimes Chrome does not invalidate dns cache properly. I would try firefox and IE and make sure if it's working

edhi work avvakapothey /etc/hosts file lo "199.59.243.120 chalanachitram.com" add cheyyandi

Thanks Nippu.

Will try next time, if doesn't work. But, I believe the betternet option should fix the problem.

Looks like DNS resolution is not working properly, I would suggest running nslookup chalanachitram.com and paste the output

One possible solution:

Add IP address change extension to your browser. Once the extension is installed, CONNECT while browsing. This should work, even though I haven't tried.

If you GOOGLE "BETTERNET VPN CHROME", you should get the extension which can be installed.

let the DB people know if it works.

That's a good thing!

Generally TRUE, but in my case not. My kids have been grown up and I don't need to run after them. Workwise, same old shit that I have been doing since 15 years.

So, lot of free time to kill. So need CCDB -:-)

Recently, I am not able to access CCDB from home (frequently). Just wondering whether it is a problem only for me or CCDB has been experiencing downtime?

For example, yesterday, last Friday to Sunday and same few days back?

Does anyone else same problem?
