Direct ga economy impact aindi ipudu... after couple of months it's going to have repercussions...mainly on growth rate and unemployment...small scale businesses lo cost cutting untadi even though Real estate is down for now, I think it'll be temporary as the most secure mode of investing ur money and the attractive way for common man is 'land' and then next 'Gold'...Once after 2000s & 500s can emulate at least 50-60% of the demonetized currency, people will again start investing in these fields...no one will dare to store currency under pillows & beds as people lost faith in 'notes'..demonetization valla real prices down avutai long term lo anedi myth..in fact, land will become dearer unemployment, demonetization will effect purchase power of the nation there by causing the prices to come down a lil bit and will again hit the economy in consumption point of view... Gold imports may increase, already OPEC nations anticipating to lower the crude oil production except Saudi, a stead or sharp rise in oil price will effect trade economics of the nation.. all in all tough times are ahead with trade deficit & unemployment going to increase, Rupee to come down along with physical pain for the fellow Indians!
