Assuming it is a part of Mahabharatham, Vyasudu is not a brahmin. So, where is the question of Brahmins being the progenitors of Hinduism? Hinduism is just a way of life that keeps on changing with time. Hinduism of today is not the same as it was 1000 years ago. There was a time when Vedas were the only scriptures. There was no Vishnu, Shiva - There was only Rudra and pancha bhoothaalu. Then we started looking at Vishnu, his descendants, idol worship etc (Earlier there was only Yajna). Now, we are adding new Gods to Hinduism and new customs as well. Caste system came into vogue much later. In short, Brahmins have nothing to do with the origin of Hinduism | ||

why isnt the focus on our roots in our Education system? why didn't include vedas, upanishads, epics, gita etc into our education since childhood? why are our ppl running behind western world, which doesn't have any strong roots? Because I was born as a Hindu (ani entha mandi anukuntunnaru?) Hinduism lo how many ppl really understand the concept of hinduism? how many ppl are true hindus? looking back into the history back to couple of thousands of years, how did Brahmins acquire the knowledge initially and why did they protect during those days and not shared? what were their reasons behind that? I don't think initially the reason was for supremacy but something else. How could they carry this for over thousands of years? Over the years it might have changed / diluted!! Did Brahmins came from some other planet or area? How did hinduism started? PS: this is not Brahmin bashing thread..just thinking how it could have happend in the history... |
