My understanding, let us say the world wide earning of apple is 100 , 36 from US and 64 from Rest of the world .. for the 36 in the US , they are paying say 1/3 tax , so 12 goes as tax and rest is in tax free wold Now , with Trump , he says , need to pay 15 for all the income , including rest of the world , so they end up paying 15 in place of 12 before ..
