1) Kudos to Gautami for being so dignified and not playing blame game. 2) Kudos for independent women. Recall reading a thread of an Arabic lady saying she appreciates USA's divorce rate. Many women in her family before lived through horrible marriages because they can't divorce. Then read the story of hundreds of others who came to share horror of not being able to leave. 3) Like above, millions of our own females lived and live in horrible relationships due to financial dependence for basic needs and social pressure. Even our previous generations of family faced same. Many lived through bad, abusive relationships. Thank God that is gone for our children. Like slavery for men, women in India just took abusive relationship as normal. No more. 4) Kamal was there as a friend at the time she went through cancer. But no need to make more out of it. Most friends would be there as moral support. His Ex-girlfriend Srividya died of cancer, don't hear of same support. 5) Let's appreciate that they have not thrown dirty laundry for media wolves. 6) I dislike Kamal as a person. He is a self-centred, fancy word sprouting nut who tries to project himself as wise. Hypocrite can't expect all women will want to stay with him after he has an affair. Gautami has definitely made the right move as far as being a role model for her own daughter. | ||

unwarranted emo uncle. I don't understand vilifying live-ins and break-ups. Sometimes it is sad that innocent kids get involved. X & Y wanted each other's company, so they lived together. Today, they don't want to, so they move on. What is wrong with this arrangement?
