So she was an ordinary citizen during that period. Third, the only fact in this case is Hillary did not attend the event. That is the only fact. Once she decided to run for the office, she most likely did the right thing by not associating with the foundation. She resigned in April 2015. Why should she not solicit the donations for charity run by her family during the time she is not associated with or was running for public office. What is the conflict of interest in Jan 2015? CGI is a very good charity. It is shame to see it fall victim to politics. This is the time clintons are going for legacy.. money may not mean much to them at this stage. At least that is what I honestly believe Now comming to the emails, there was deliberations in January 2015. That is when she supposedly was thinking of attending ..there was no obligation on her at that time. if anything this should confirm that she thinks and does the right thing!! most likely he doesn't . Even he has known it would not registered as a big deal. What we see in that email is a well paid staff anticipating potential issues and possible gotcha's that are part political slandering. Now we have to take things in perspective where 7 committees glossed over this issue and it never registered as a problem to any one of them. Several people in political realm possible knew as much as Obama did but that did not register as a crime to them. It's only after a reporter made it a story , this garnered attention and was a political goldmine. It was pretty well established that private email at several capacities was used by other bureaucrats. While the whole server thing is stupidity on HRC's part , I am curious about security protocol here? Is the POTUS supposed to check the email addresses of the sender for .gov extensions and not just sender name ? If yes I would agree O is at fault otherwise unless some staffer briefed him about HRC's server why would he know ?
