What you have said makes sense but politics lo logics work out avvavu....look at trump, he also used conventional wisdom and took pence as his VP. He knows that he is not a true conservative so to tap the true GOP voters he chose Pence over many other choices..if you have noticed, in many pence's interviews he used a word 'balance', he says i am here to balance the ticket... BTW there was also talk of trump selecting Quinn as VP because of his military back ground, McCain picked Palin to tap women voters, Romney picked Ryan again for traditional GOP voters...so what Clinton did is not new ani nenu anukuntunna | ||

are we supposed to be suprised since it came on wikileaks..  Only 3 months back CNN and other networks were speculating both candidates VP picks. I will recall few things.. Should she pick tim Kaine , a white middle aged democrat with significant policy experience Should she pick Corey booker, young upcoming black democrat Should she pick Julian Castro, hispanic democrat Should she pick Gen Allen for milatary experience Should she pick Elizabeth warren, women and liberal This is the thought process almost eveyone was openly speculating. Isn't this the process followed in finding a complimentary balance on ticket.. Every one has their own process they follow . Obama wanted senior senator , McCAin wanted junior right wing candidate.
