What i meqnt about a knee jerk in banning in China's situation is purely from anger. But we sit and think, it's almost impossible to do a dent to china's economy at a personal level by banning their stuff. But the better way is, policy makers encouraging local production to a quality matching international standards and there by slowly denting china's market. It's a long term process and can be only done by people with proper vision not falling in to traps of politics internally. | ||

Giving slogans to ban something is usually a knee jerk reaction. Its not good but unfortunately its very natural. One has to understand how we ended up in the current situation where more and more people are supporting the knee jerks. India has suffered a lot from the external damage for years (eventhough it's mainly our politicians fault). After decades of peaceful attempts in 2016 we still are in a situation almost similar to 1947 because of Pakistan and it's stupid strategy in the Kashmir issue. They hate us. Period. So after seeing so many years of hatred towards us it's very natural the % of population taking extreme will grow and may react out of proportion to issues. It's not good but that's the reality. Also now we are seeing some strong stance from govt. People are seeing strong leadership. And probably more and more are feeling that we stay strong and support in our own ways, towards leadership. I don't know, may be. Indians are still by and large very peaceful. (That include all religions) | ||

Modi's attempts are in right path in isolation attempts. But India has to be cautious with some countries in the world from out previous experiences. 1st on that list is Pakistan. It cannot change in its current form. It has deep rooted problems. The only way to dissolve the issues world is facing from this country is to dismantle it in parts. The sooner is the better. Mending ways by them are gone days. They are part of play by them to prolong issue and get funded by rich countries by one way or the other. These editorials etc won't do any good except from prolonging the issue. Other countries of our list should be USA (because their enemy changes as per their needs) and China for obvious reasons. They can be only strategic partners. Nothing more. Not friends. | ||

I am sure these kind of words are used as retaliation after seeing so many people talking on tv news papers etc with some degree of stupidity to an extent of commenting even on country's soldiers that they have joined in army to die (with a hidden meaning that they are not to do me any favour by joining there). I felt this video is a bit related. Just a Pakistan point of view on several topics what we discuss here. Relating to this subject, questioning was and never is a problem in India. But we are unearthing a nice pattern of hidden intentions and motivations of the questioners. This is happening only since recent times. And this is new to India.
