So they are not able to accept story/screenplay/script from other guy give them credit for the same and just stick to direction. One example is Vaitla/Kona story, initially Kona used to provide story/screenplay and Vaitly used to direct. Once they started hitting big, Vaitla started feeling bad to share the credit. I always wonder whats wrong with our directors... Once they pass the so called prime all they create is a junk. They do not (can not?) create a good movie once they are thru. But if you look at the Hollywood directors like James Cameron/Spielberg, they adopt and use the latest in movie making, select decent stories and create great entertainers.
