It is too bad . Even road construction has mistakes in india. If you look at the PVNR fly over, You have big curve without any visibility of the end of the curve. From my experience 90% truck drivers are ok and really give way and let us overtake and even tell if it is safe to overtake by waving hand.... 10% are the ones who doesnt care and they feel that they own the road... its pure ego clash between car driver and lorry driver. i noticed many times on highway. simple people get egoistic . we must go on our speed and comfort. 1 car will be going on 100;s . we will be going 120. we overtake. suddenly he raised and overtakes agin on 130. again after 1 hr, we see the same car again going on 100 and we overtake on 120. 120 is my comfort zone and 100 is his. but when we over take he take it to heart and suddenly raises. to bad amma. here the problem is car guy want to over take lorry may be from 1 km. he is trying but couldn't. he suddenly realised lorry cannot turn sharp at junction , so he can overtake at that time. he raised immediately even not think for a sec about the junction and other traffic. lorry guy also dont want to lose the race. he know car guy is making mistake. so he thought its not my mistake if he hits also. but that small ego will cost lives. lorry driver also ignored the lorry coming on other side.
