If the talk of Jaggu choosing him as their candidate for RS is true, then it would serve as yet another example of Jaggu's retarded brain and inability to even find good advice. Jaggu doesn't have any representation at all in RS so this Rajya Sabha seat would be a big thing for the party. Vijay Sai Reddy, as we all know is facing trial in many CBI chargesheets. Even fans of YSRCP wouldn't disagree that there is a good chance of him getting convicted in at least one of those chargesheets. Conviction in such cases (section 420 etc.) will surely come with at least two years of sentence. That means he will immediately be disqualified w.e.f the day the sentence is pronounced. Even if he manages to get bail and file appeal, the disqualification stands. If a by-election is held for a single RS seat, TDP will surely wrest it as all its MLAs can vote in that.
