pace nenu polenu even if i Try...6 MPH is what i am confortable with...adi oka 14-16 miles varake..later around 5 ki padipothondi pace...monna 22 i did in 3 hours 50 mins...so res of 4 inko 1 hour patinaaa...5 hours lo chesthe am happy anukuntunnaaa....

Eat GU every 45 mins and hydrate yourself irrespective of weather.


GU endi bhayyaa..i will try to hydrate as much as possible...

Night before marathon, eat pasta with mild sause and early morning on Marathon Day eat banana/bagle couple of hours before the race.
Try to stick to the middle of the road as people run more than required by veering in and out
Eat GU every 45 mins and hydrate yourself irrespective of weather.
If you are used to hearing mussic make sure your phone/mp3 is charged up
Eat plenty of carbs week into your marathon and start sipping sports drink and water three days before marathon
Wear your sunscreen and have sunglasses on you and carry a small water bottle and fill it during the pit stops so that you dont need to stop at every water joint
Have couple of advils and pop them up after half your run, which will help you a lot

On Top of every thing, just enjoy the run. As this is your first Marathon dont aim for a timing and dont worry, with the crowd cheering in will be better than practicing alone.

short steps teesuko not long ones and pains common ..i never ran 22 though..my max is 10 miles in 1.30 hours ...

but i found out at my age should run less and do upper body too..so running 2-3 miles ki i restrected..i do total body now a days...

coming weekend oka 16 miles...aa pai weekend oka 10 as long runs cheddam anukuntunnaaaa....madhyalo oka 4m and 6m as short runs on week days...
