If the intention is to declare his death, i think it is achieved. Yes he died in 1945 in unknown circumstances. Unless there is proof of how and who is responsible, it is not worth. If there are any reference to war criminal in any of the documents by any nation, this govt should officially remove those references and close this matter for good. What you have to understand is, there should be nothing important that should be hidden from the citizenry (unless they are really secrets). They successfully are undermining freedom fighters efforts. Anavasaram idi...there are people who obviously did not like his way of fighting. But the fact is he unified a lot of people across different sectors, castes etc...british did not like him, other fighters (Gandhi, nehru etc) did not like because he did not share thier way of fighting... On the occasion of 119th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, PM Modi released the digital copies of 100 files related to Subhash Chandra Bose on Saturday. The National Archives of India is placing 100 files relating to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in public domain after preliminary conservation treatment and digitization. 23rd January, 2016 the 119th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will be a truly memorable one. On this day, in a step towards unraveling the mystery surrounding Netaji's death, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will declassify some secret files. A small gathering of people, including family members of Netaji and some leaders, would attend the event. Some of the family members who have already reached Delhi described this day as a momentous one. Last year on 14th October PM Modi had promised to declassify Netaji files when he met 35 members of Netaji's family at his official residence.
